Mid to upper 70s for temp. They don't care about pH as long as its stable. Overfiltration is highly recommended, such as an HOB rated for a 20g tank. They are carnivores and usually will not eat flake or dried foods. Frozen bloodworms, live blackworms, mysis shrimp, chopped krill, clams, crab, etc. Snails about the size of its eye should be fed at least once a week to keep its teeth under control. You could have a couple of dwarf puffers and a couple of otos in a 10g tank but prepare to rehome/return one if it proves to be aggressive and/or territorial. Heavily planted (jungle-like) with real or artificial plants is important. A fully cycled tank is vital as they are easily poisoned from ammonia and/or nitrites.
