Hi all,
I posted this over on AC, but I guess everyone is over here so I'll post it in here. I recently ordered some new plants and looks like I've got a stowaway, any idea what this is? it's the green "thread" thats wrapped around what I think is Rotala Magenta ![]() Fiske on AC suggested that it may be Muskgrass, but from the pics that I found out there it's close but not quite the same |

It looks to be an Utricularia species, probably U. gibba. A carniverous plant on a small scale, but unless you are raiseing very small fry it isn't any danger to fish. I don't find that it ever has a growth form that is pleaseing to the eye, so I've tried to remove it whenever I've gotten it.
