Question stowaway plant/weed?

Hi all,
I posted this over on AC, but I guess everyone is over here so I'll post it in here.

I recently ordered some new plants and looks like I've got a stowaway, any idea what this is?
it's the green "thread" thats wrapped around what I think is Rotala Magenta

Fiske on AC suggested that it may be Muskgrass, but from the pics that I found out there it's close but not quite the same

It looks to be an Utricularia species, probably U. gibba. A carniverous plant on a small scale, but unless you are raiseing very small fry it isn't any danger to fish. I don't find that it ever has a growth form that is pleaseing to the eye, so I've tried to remove it whenever I've gotten it.

I'm surprised you were sent plants with such an obvious hitchhiker attached to it. I would remove it since it looks like it might choke out your rotala if it keeps growing.
