Default Jungle Vall ... gone wild

The Silver River, Ocala Florida

These are some of that largest and most beautiful "fields" of jungle vall that I've ever seen.

and a fish for good measure

Why don't you go get on of those under water point and shoots and give us a view from below the surface

Pretty soon there'll be no need to import so called tropical fish. Simply take a vacation to Fla and collect all you want. That is until the state decides there's tax money to be made. Nice pics Bud

Commons seem to max out around 18 inches.

The Silver River pleco herd was larger than anything I've seen elsewhere. And they seemed, try not to laugh, happier than the fish I've seen in other rivers. The silver river is a protected area, no swimming and no fishing, so that tends to limit the amount of visitors. It's also vedy vedy deep, 80 feet in places.

So once again I contemplate the idea of converting my pool into a pond for Rufus. A new filter, couple gallons of prime, some wild harvested vall, a few dozen power heads ...

I just thought that maybe that isn't a wild pleco in the river. I bet its bud's, and she was out taking Rufus for a walk (swim?).

LOL Cool! Thanks! I didn't think you would actually do it, but I think the pictures are pretty dang good for a point and shoot. Gives us a glimpse of how nature aquascapes.
