Default My clow pleco dosen't seem to be touching fruit/veggies

I put a piece of zuccini or mango in the tank about once every 3 days or so (and remove it the next)

He dosen't seem to be interested in it at all. I never see him on it.

Can i get some ideas on more veggies/fruits besides the two i said above?

has anyone had any luck with a certain type of food?

and he loves wood........still

I'm just worried thats all hes eating and won't survive on it. I have had him for a few weeks now and still he won't touch any plant matter i throw in

I've tried shelled peas which they seem to like, as well as spinach.

I have also heard that green beans is a good option but I haven't tried them yet. I am actually going to pick some up today for my BN Plecs.

Sometimes you have to introduce a food several times before they try it.

They are cleaning up your algae for you...that is a good thing...

However pleco cannot live on algae alone and require supplemental feedings as you are trying to do.
