Default Lemon Spotted Green Pleco anyone have any experience with em?

are Lemon Spotted Green Pleco compatible with african ciclids?

if i start africans out small and get him first could i do that or could that fish even handle a 8.0 Ph?

Depending on the species, there are some catfish that work--but algae usually has to be scraped off manually--but some snails will work.
