Well, I see little black dots on the eggs, so they're good. These guys take a LONNG time to hatch ! At least 5 days or longer. For such a small fish, it sure takes them a long time to develop !

Very cool! Wonder if boosting the temp would make a positive difference?

Probably, but I'm not trusting the heater I have in there. Not one of my most dependable.....I'm afraid if I mess with it it'll do something unkind....lol...Right now it's holding steady at about 78.

Gosh, your 5 gallon looks huge! I have two bees myself. I really need to get them a brackish tank. I'd love to raise some babies, but as you said, I'm sure it's difficult. I can actually tell the difference between my two bumbles, one has a spot.

LOL Zanz......me too...I've had fry on two other occasions, but for some reason they'd disappear after about 3 weeks. This time around I have micro worms to feed them. Before that I was depending on infusoria.

WhooHoo...I see one fry swimming around in there..........hope it works out this time. I've got micro worms wriggling around in the tank, but havn't seen it take any nibbles yet. Looks to be ready to eat on it's own....it's VERY tiny though !

Dang....not a fry in sight now........but, they are very hard to see so I suppose there could still be some hiding in there.

I think the micro worms are even too big for them because I could see them swimming around looking at the worms wriggling around, but never did see one eat any.
