Hey guys and girls, welcome to the Brackish forum. Like the heading says, when freshwater isn't enough and marine is too much that is where the brackish lies. This forum will be for all brackish fish (EXCEPT Puffers, as they have their own forum). Common brackish fish are:
Anablep Anablep (four eyed fish) Mudskippers Archers Monos-Monodactylus sebae and Monodactylus argenteus Scats (all four species-Silver, Ruby/Red, Green and African) Puffers (BUT they have their own forum so please post there!) Gobies (Knight, Bumblebee, White Cheek, Dragon/Violet, Mogurndas, etc) "Freshwater" Snowflake Moray Eels Black fin Catfish Target fish Glassfish/Glass Tetra etc! Fish that also do well in Brackish are the Mollies and Guppies and in LOW brackish some of the Rainbow's etc. Most common freshwater fish (Plecos, cories, tetras, oddballs, gourami's, etc) are not brackish and few do well in such. Anyway Welcome to the Brackish forum and enjoy your stay ! |
