I'm having trouble getting my apistogramma to eat anything other then blood worms, I have tried spirlina enriched brine shrimp, plankton(they eat that but there too big for the females to eat), mysis shrimp(again too big for the females)
and even marine food cubes that formula 2 stuff I'm mainly worried about the lack of vegitation they get. There carnivores and I'm guessing they get most veggie nutrients from the small critters they normally would eat like a gut loaded shrimp for example. Does anyone have an idea as to what type of frozen food I could give them that has a little vegtible matter in for them? |

Mostly Cichlids

Apistos are Omnivores. I would get them on a good staple food. For example NLS (new life spectrum) or HBH. I would feed that and supplement with meaty treats as well as veggie treats a couple times a week. Maybe a live treat now and then like earthworms, brine shrimp, or such.
