Default apistogramma breeding attempt #3

ok so there is a third batch of apisto eggs in my 20 long, 0 ammonia 0 nitrite nitrate under 20 ppm and the pH is, well under 6.2 due to a crap load of plants growing in the tank i think. I know they need soft water but do you think thta may be a little to soft for the eggs to hatch? I have had no luck with viable fry yet and I'm starting to think my water paramaters are he cause. How low is too low in terms of pH a couple websites have said shoot for a pH of 6.5 and mine well beyond that and I don't think I can bring raise it at all, any advice on what I could do to make these eggs actually pop?

I don't know about how to deal with the eggs, but I have some calcium carbonate if you want to give your KH a boost.
