Default My black moor, again

My moor has either a deformed tail fin, or a broken one. He's been that way ever since I got him. Do you think he'll be ok, or that he's in pain? It seems to alter his swimming a little. The area is the left side, where the (bone?) seems to be.

You might see it in my avatar, but maybe not. The rest of the fin sort of hangs down.

Just want to make sure he's ok. Thanks

Well, I wouldn't let him breed. Could be genetic, but it could be the result of an injury when he was a fry. It it unlikely it will get better at this point, but he'll probably survive fine, especially if he's not forced to compete for food.

Ok. I don't have any plans to breed him (if it is a "he"). As for competing for food, I spoil him by hand feeding. He doesn't see very well. Poor guy.

Thanks
