Hi,
I was having a browse online for pH and ammonia testing kits and came accross this: Aquatics Warehouse UK PH ALERT I have heard that the little test strips are not very good, was just wandering is people had used these and wondered what they thought? Are they any good? I don't wanna set me back a tenner for something that's not too effective. Thanks, ![]() |

I've had good luck with Seachem products. There doesn't seem to be enough differentiation in the colors in the upper range for me, though. Also, since I never (or very seldom) check the ph in my tanks, it's an expense that I don't need. For some it may be useful.

At some point this little do0-hicky will fail.... money better spend on a proper drop test kit imho.
If you are doing regular (once to twice a week) water changes then pH should be of little or no issue and be stable... it's the KH after all that is your buffer for the pH and if your source water is adequate then nothing to worry about - as long as YOU are consistant ![]() |
