Default Photos of Your Discus

Attached are a few photos of my discus. Unfortunately, I'm a terrible photographer, so they don't do the fish justice. Feel free, however, to add pictures of your own. If there's enough interest, we can always make this a sticky thread and create an easily-referenced gallery.

Jay, those are some of the best looking discus I have seen. The ones at my lfs look terible. They just looked unhappy and don't have a good shape to them. Acutally I have never seen good ones at a store. Did you get them from a breeder?

Hi, I get them from a LFS here. My fish guy is very particular about his discus. Believe it or not he has even nicer Blue diamonds and Marlboros right now. He won't tell me who he gets em from but thats OK with me. I have a Golden phoenix I will try and get a pic of him and put it up also. Thanks for looking.

Nice pics Jay-stew...

I have a 125 gallon with 8 Discus. It's not photo-worthy due to repetitive algae outbreaks. It started when we had to leave the house for hurricane repair and couldn't attend to it as needed, and has been trouble since.

Keep up this nice tank!

---

Other pics here looked great too!

Hey Thanks!! I bet your 125 was pretty awesome before the storm. What kind of Discus are you keeping? How long have you had the algae prob. for? I am treating one right now. It is just a matter of getting everything in check.
My Co2 was the culprit in my case. i need to go pressurized. Funny thing i was saying to my wife i want to jump to a 125 when we move, they really are alot of work like you said.

here's a couple of my babies, about 2 months old. they're either red or blue turks

I've since moved them to a smaller tank so that I can battle the algae in the 125g

Hey guys,
I am going to put a plug in here for a buddy of mine for discus. You will not find a better source for high end discus. I am going to try to get him to be a part of this site as he really knows his stuff and is a good friend of mine.

Check this out

Aloha Everyone, I have been breeding discus and angels for a few yrs now and would like to tell you all that your discus are beautiful. Keep up the W/Cs and they will do great. Here are a few pics of what I have but in no particular order. I hope you enjoy the pics and please tell me what you think or how I can improve anything.
