i would go with 9-10 in a 130

any kinds you like.. marlboros, snakeskins and blue diamonds seem to compliment eachother well..

make sure the water is always clean..they are not as fragile as many people say..but they do require good water and good filtration

1 water change a week is enough for them..but 2 would be better..

Discus do not like strong current.

Discus are grazers more than agressive eaters and will feed off the bottom. Therefore it is best to do several small feedings throughout the day rather than one larger one.

Discus prefer less bright light.

Discus require very clean water.

Discus like it warm- mid 80s is fine for them. They can take it warmer, esp. when being medicated when low 90s is not too much.

To start get the hardier (been around a long time) strains like red turqs and pigeons blood etc.

How can you tell how long a breed has been around for?

Thank you.
