Haha funny you should say that. I got home from work last night and she had finished the final coat of paint on the wall. There are just a few touchups that need to be done, and put in the quarter round molding along the floor, and the aesthetic part of it will be complete. I'll try to get some pictures tonight.

Alright, FINALLY I got to a point where I was willing to take pictures. There's a few more things I need to touch up here and there, but hte majority is done. Iis kind of like aquascaping a tank...is it ever really finished? Nah... Anyway, onto the moment you've all been waiting for.

with the flash

without the flash

Each tank (these are a little blurry...too lazy to get the tripod.

Behind the scenes...

So, there she is. Aesthetically its pretty much done other than filling in and painting some nail holes in the molding. Next big part will be running a water line back there for the constant drip/water change system. That will have to wait for some fundage, however.

How much clearance is there in between tanks and for the top pair and the ceiling?

In between tanks, depends...anywhere from 1" to enough room for a 10gal tank. For the top ones, its really close...4-6" or so. Good thing I gots me some long arms. The 150 isn't too bad, but the 55 is kind of a pain trying to deal with the plants.

outstanding project, Sploke. The only thing I might add would be some frames around the tanks. I think that'd look cool. Even without frames, the project came out very well...I bet you spend hours sitting there watching the fish..

Yeah I spent a lot of time thinking about that. Using some corner molding around the holes certainly would have made life easier as far as getting a nice clean finish, but I really wanted the wall part of it to be as simple and basic as possible.
