Well, I wanted to do the right thing and follow the law, and also do what was better for them. Months ago, I finally found a good home for them and this guy is complusive about keeping his tanks clean and animals cared for. It would've been hard too with not only transporting the 55gal but the 30gal with all the snails too. I miss them, but it was for the best. Next time, I intend to get brigs in the future since they are lesser in size and maintenance than the almighty canas.

Just curious, has anyone rsearched Marissa's, I cannot find anything that say they are restricted or that they need a permit either. I'm getting ready to ship some (Hopefully) and would like to be legal about it.

I haven't seen anything about them but haven't specifically looked Dave. If you label the package "Live Snails" then at least you've made a conscious effort to disclose what is inside. Then if they break down your door and search your computers history, they'll also see you tried to find out other ways too. That would be two positive actions in your defense anyway. Seems if you can find info on others than marissas should be listed too.
