Default little 2 gallon planted

I love this little tank...it's a 2gallon "Explorer" with an inhood type filter. I have some little endlers in here..that's it. I plan on putting in some cherry shrimp....soon.....

I'm waiting for the hygro to fill in behind the driftwood. I have java fern and a couple of anubias i there as well. That green carpet is a flattened out marimo ball.

There are 3 adult endlers and the inevitable little fry that show up now and again. I take out any extras and put them in my 20 planted as needed.

I've probably posted this tank here before....but I occasionally get bored and need something to occupy myself with....hehe

wow! I really like that alot.....innovative use of the marimo ball! I have a 2 1/2 gal that is empty....I use it for QT....but it sure would look nice with some plants and some shrimp...maybe a snail or two!

lol..yeah that marimo ball....I have to tuck it under the driftwood and plunk that rock on top of it or it floats an inch or so above the substrate...lol

I also have 2 other regular glass 2.5 gallon tanks....one is planted with a betta and the other is a "nursery" tank. I have it set up for tiny fry. RIght now it has one little panda cory in it..awaiting 2 others that are growing out a bit before I add them in......temporary quarters until they're large enough to fend off possible predation from other tankmates....

AH....GO for it ! Can't wait to see how it looks !

I think mine will look better after that hygro fills in behind the wood.....I also added a dwarf red lotus to the tank...put it in the front left corner. Not sure if I like it there or not though......thought it needed another color other than green....lol....the shrimp will help in that area some. Maybe when they really color up.....they'll help the lotus fit in better....
