They are more ambush predators and stalk at night. They have only been treated to feeders once, and what they do is lay there like a log, wait for one to swim close and then "BAM" feeder in its mouth. You can almost see in their eyes that they are waiting for the perfect time to ambush. They sometimes will try to give chase, but they are not built for speed and agility.
For the most part, they just lay there, so predatory yes, but a laid back predatory, not an aggressive in your face predatory.
