Feeding out of water

I was looking for my next installment of "Off the Deep End" when I ran across this: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/n...2_catfish.html

Is anyone familiar with the eel catfish? It looks like it would be fun to keep.

Never heard of them before. I do like the example of ongoing evolution, though.

Until I read the writeup a few weeks ago, I had never given much thought to how dependent fish are on suction for eating, and how badly that works in a non-aquatic environment. Unless you happen to hunt spaghetti.
