Still trying to decide what to do with the 20. I think a frogfish would be swell...But will have to remove most of the stuff in that tank and set it up with 'real' live rock...And what to do with the rock in there now, not to mention all the shells?

Sigh!

My angelfish's eggs have hatched! I have wigglers! I don't know why I am so excited--I don't intend to raise any of them--don't have the space, time or money--I am just full of parental pride that my fishy babies are such good parents!

I have a 10g full of ramshorn snails from OG! I love them! I hope that they will breed like crazy for me.

My ghost shrimp is hovering all over the 10g, busy little swimmrets!

My bamboo shrimp doesn't seem happy and is hiding among the fake lily leaf.

The parents have moved the wigglers to another leaf, where the babies are wiggling madly. They are really tiny, but you can see their little tails move, kind of pulsing. Such good mama and daddy, they are in their little corner taking care of them.

So glad the snails have a good home! I'll probably be pulling another mass out this weekend, if anyone else is interested.

My shellies spawned--and the mama has let the teeny tiny fry out of the shell--it is a couple days later, and they are still very small. Hardly bigger then the size of the grains of pool filter sand, but with blue eyes and little bellies. Even though they are cute and small they have personalities already, and chase each other around the shells and rocks, staking out their territories!

The momma threw a java fern with three snails climbing on it all the way across the tank! They are mean to snails.

Never underestimate the viscous nature of a Dwarf Puffer...This morning I watched Penelope attack a pond snail almost half her size.

My molly dropped a bit over 10 fry yesterday and today I only count 4, more might be hiding amongst plants. My angel fish is a happy camper with those fry, YUM YUM!

My angels are still gaurding the wigglers--they pick them up and put them back on the leaf whenever they slip off. They are fierce defenders, and chase rasboras who get too close--but the area they mark off isn't that big, so the rasboras are fine.

It is water change day today--got to figure out what to do with scary green hairy algae. I'm holding off wc on tank with angels spawning until monday.

I need to pull the HUGE clump of java moss out of the 10G to make sure the killies are still in there.

Need to rework the driftwood in my 29 planted--turn around, and add more moss? It's such a great addition. Bought 2 more pieces for the 125g--just can't wait to get that bad boy going. The Eheim Classic has me overwhelmed, so many parts!!!!!

Rosie--I have a good article on the ehiem classic--on cleaning it. I'll have to dig it up for you.

I cleaned out the puffs tank--all muckity muck, did over a 100% water change, and re-arranged the plants and rock, we'll see if that makes any difference.

My rams are guarding wrigglers in the 29...the second batch in two weeks. I removed most of them....going to raise another batch, I guess....lol. I've got a group of them from the last spawn that are swimming around in a 5 right now.

I have NO idea WHY I'm doing this.....lol

Took the rocks oiut of the 20. I'm going to do a large water change, clear out all the excess waste...And put in some of the dry live rock and by a handful of rubble from the LFS...And let the dang thing soak until it's stable. The algae has been up and down and up and down. I think it's too warm for anything native to do more than survive.
