I don't knoooow.......

I pulled one of my female bettas out of the 20g today. She is in serious need of a diet.Put her in one of those little cups they come in. I figure with frequent water changes she should be fine until she no longer looks like she swallowed a marble. I've got twice the water they usually have in the cup.
I'm also wondering if she is constipated. This way I can see if she poops.

Miss you, Old Man

I'd plan on doing a daily 50% change to keep up on it. Depending on your humidity, evaporation could be a problem as well.

I keep a one gallon jug of water sitting out for topping off tanks between WCs. That should handle a few 50% WCs, I would think.
For some reason she doesn't seem to be happy to be back in the cup. But it's for her own good, right?

Well, she's not constipated. I noticed some poop when I did the WC today. A few more days and she should be okay. I'll feed her a few betta bites tomorrow.
Not surprisingly, she has lost her color. Isn't it amazing how different they look after you put them in a larger tank?

After 5 days in the cup (and several major league poops) she is back in the 20 and looking much better.
