Bala,
There are an abundance of Possibilities some dangerous some benign. Some descrition of size and swimpattern may help. For instance is it about 3/4 to 1" long ans swims with an erratic Sine wave pattern, It is 1/4" long ad glides on the glass? If a pic is possibl that makes things easier, but if not more information will help a lot. dave

Yes, I would say if you're going to keep a tank like that, don't bother asking for advice on problems. If you keep your fish in poor conditions, bad things will happen. And you don't want criticism on tank size (i.e. helpful information) so why should we try to help on anything else? Don't treat symptoms, treat the root of the problem, your poor stocking and irresponsible attitude as a pet owner. You've obviously already been told about it or you wouldn't add the disclaimer to your signature.
And that is all I have to say to the BalaShark (BS? coincidence?) as they have now become the first person on my ignore list. Whenever I see this kind of stuff I just scratch my head. |

Bala,
you may have missed my response? We need some information if you want an answer. I also agree that if you aren't doing multiple weekly water changes you are probably in deeper trouble than your sig indicates. The worms in Question are probably thriving quite nicely in a nutrient rich environment, so with or without I.D. Reducing available food for them should help make them Dissapear or at least drop in numbers. If you only have one now, You will see them increase in Numbers drastically if the tank is under maintained. Either way we need some info to answer your question. Please respond so we can help you make an I.D. dave

the tank in question is the 2g, and even though the 10 is grossly overstocked it has nothing to do with these worms. I've had worms in my tanks before, what I did was move the fish to another tank I had cycled and waiting to be home to a new community of fish(but that never happened), and took better care of the tank after that.

well, you gotta find out. measure the length, width and hieght of the tank(in inches). multiply length times width, then multiply the result of that by the hight. now divide by 231, what you get is your nominal galonage (effective galonage is the same minus the glass and decor).

Bala, If you wnat answers You had better supply some information. You have seen the questions a replies and HAve thus far ignored the obvious. Are you here to get help? Or are you here for some other reason? This is the second post where you have asked for help on something and then ignored those who tried to get enough information to actually help You. If you are not interested in an Answer, What is your purpose here?? Dave
