Default What do you think about this switch

I have 2 red dwarf grammies in my apistogramma tank and 2 angle fish in w/ my electric blue jack dempsey and bipindies. As it stands right now everyone gets along. I was thinking about switching the grammies and angelfish around so the angle fish would be with the apisto grammies.

everyone is relativly the same size so what do you think about that?

I would make switches based on potential size and most suitable tank for that. The ebjd would not be able to eat the angelfish later, and the angelfish would not eat the apistogrammas. I would not attempt to keep the dempsey with the apistos though.

well the angles I know get pretty tall hence there in my 14 gallon tank which is a tall 17.5" tall

if i make the move then they would be in 20 long 12.5" tall

I think my only concern is the height diffrence between the two tanks

A 10 long is really not tall enough for angels unless its for a breeding pair. And even that will be hard for most breeders to manage. I have heard from reliable sources that angels have been bred in 10 gal tanks- but I would never want to try that.
