Default Lost guppy :(

I lost one of my female guppies today from birthing complications. I didnt notice till it was too late. I know there things happen, but its still poopy. I do have 3 little baby guppies to remember her by.

Sorry to hear that. Had a similar situation with a Molly. She was being harassed by another female and most of her fry died before hatching. When she passed, she gave birth to four fry. All four are still going strong plus a dozen from the month before.

Not positive what happened nursie, but she had the 3, noticed she was a little disoriented, miutes later she was floating.

Sorry to hear that as well. It always sucks to lose a fish, and it's worse when you aren't sure the cause.

I am sorry to hear that but yeah, it happens with live bearers. Not much to do when that happens. I usually will make sure there is plenty of cover for the fish and weekly water changes. This way, she will give birth on time and not extend the Pregnancy.

The fish I most recommend is Heterandria Formosa the least killiefish, smallest livebearer in the United states. Picture is larger than life size. Males reach a lengh of 1/4 of an inch and females up to 1 inch.

So sorry about your fishy, fishy. Take good care of those 3 little boo boos (I know you will). I lost 4 tetras this weekend, still not sure what happened.
