guppy coloration?

hello,

ive had guppy's for a while but ive never actually bought them from the store, i got them from a cousin, but yesterday i went to fish shop and saw some nice guppys and took 4 of them home, when they where in the bag i noticed their color started to fade...but then when i released them at home they got glowing colors that werent even seen at the fish shop...is that normal?...or?

I got some oto's yesterday that did the same thing. I think that colors fade when fish are stressed.

When they were in the bag, their color started fading from stress. But when they got back to your house and settled in, the color came back.

In good conditions, the color will be great, but when the fish gets streesed, the color fades.
