Nice...The G. multiradiatus get my vote based on looks alone.

I'm not sure the 20 is enough room for how aggressive the gambusia can be, they really are fast and if one gets the upper hand would try to chase the others further than that tank would allow. It may be doable, but would not be as friendly a tank as some other choices could be.

yeah i was reading up on them, is the holbrooki really that different than the affinis? i have had the affinis before and they werent anything like what literature said.

another idea would be to have a community of xenotoca eiseni and girardinus metallicus? not sure on how well they would mix but it would make a nice display.

AFIK holbrooki are just a subspecies of affinis. From my experience with wild affinis collected in SC the large females (2.5") are very agressive with smaller females.

ok slight change, i went with salninia oblongifolia instead of the red root floater want to make sure the tank is mature enough before trying a damanding floater.

and i went with xenotoca eiseni-red tailed goodeid, reasoning genetics it has a lot of variations and locals so it will be better to breed in the long run. a bit more forgiving then the g. multiradiatus as well.

im going to be starting a build thread for the tank so i dont have random stuff in this thread.(w/ pics)

The REd Tailed Goodeid is a very good choice. I am assuming this goes with your other thread. I keep a very large school of Butterfly here so I do like my Goodeids.
But I have always been a fan of the Girardinus metallicus and but from your list would have given Girardinichthys multiradiatus a chance as well.
