I"ve seen Tiger platies around my area. They didn't have the black fins and looked more like the other picture, whitish body/orange stripes.

Dont forget to get more platies! Platies dont like being alone . Also, dont just get a pair, get a 2F 1M trio, or better yet, a group of 3M and 11F.

Platys can be fun, although a little -no- a lot piggish! They're great at getting rid of algae,too!
