Question small compatibility question

hello there..i have a bunch of livebearers, mollies (dalmatian, balloon, black lyretail), guppys, platys and swordfish in a pond like setting outdoors...i saw some nice clown plecos...are they good fish for a pond with livebearers? could they harm the fry or the adult fish themselves? any ideas? not sure if this thread fits here..but..oh well...

thanks...

I think they'd be OK together.

Is the pond heated?

I am not a pleco person but you might get away with it. But silly question where do you live? This may help out in answers to your question. I live in MN and the last few years I had some die offs due to temp drop offs in July with nights hitting 50 degrees. This was not a typical summer night but it happens.

lol...i dont got no temp drops..i live in the caribbean in the Dominican Republic...so i would guess that the temp changes are according to their (i think plecos are from South America?) habitat?

Then if your pond is big enough, you shouldn't have any problems. Make sure you have plenty of circulation and your pleco should appreciate that.

Yeah, if you're in the Caribbean it should definitley work, provided the pond is big enough.
