I've never had one, but it's way overpriced. You can set up the same sized tank with just as nice a stand and stronger lights and equipment for less.

I wouldn't pay $750 for a 34 gallon tank.............

I don't know, tank, stand, lights, skimmer, powerheads, heaters. They all add up pretty quickly. I bet the costs would be similar.

I would not get one for two reasons.

1. I like tinkering with the equipment. I enjoy that as much as I do the things in the aquarium its self almost.

2. Generally you can't upgrade things like that, or it is really difficult too. If you don't like the pumps, the lights, or the skimmer, you are pretty much stuck with what is there. I would personally just get all the equipment separately.

...if the lights, skimmer, powerheads, heater, etc... breaks can it be replaced? I saw replacement parts for the bulbs and pump but not for the other things.

Not if you're comparing equivalent equipment. You can get a bigger tank, better lights, better skimmer, sump, etc., for less than that 34g tank.

For ease of setup those tanks are probably good, but other than that it's not necessary unless you just like the way the tank looks and absolutely must have it.

That's the point. For instance look at the lighting on that tank, you can get much better lighting cheaper setting a tank up yourself.
I already figured up the costs when I was setting up a new saltwater tank several months ago (I still have a thread around here somewhere asking about this tank) and they're not worth it.
