Nice pics and coral AH ! Love those radioactive dragons !

That mushroom is easily 6+inches in diameter when fully opened....it's pretty big.....and I have TWO of them in my little 29 !

Picked up some more coral at the reef meeting tonight......Sploke, you should have gone....

The first pic is a montipora I traded for a frag from my gorgonian. The second is a piece of candy cane coral and the last is a very P.O.ed leather who'll probably pout for awhile before it comes out.

Had fun watching Dan saw away at all that coral...plucking zoas off of rock and snipping pieces here and there, then slapping them onto a plug or plate..whatever was handy. There was plenty to go around for everyone in the club who showed...and then they raffled off the rest along with some other things.

I missed out on a tiger pistol/redbanded goby pair.......I was so very sad when that lady picked it up off the table....

It was the very first thing to go in the raffle...I didn't hang around much after that, since most of the really good stuff was taken by the time one of my tickets was called...(as usual) I even went back and slapped down 5 more bucks on tickets when I saw that goby/shrimp !! ah well, I never learn.....LOL !

I was a bit skittish about starting into sw too, but I'm so glad I did. It's turned out to be not as difficult or scary as I had thought....and REALLY interesting !

Dont let SW intimidate ya.. It is well worth the efforts in the long run! I never would have thought that I would enjoy mine so much. I can sit for hours and just watch the fishes.

Wow Emg its been a while since I've seen pics of your tank....things are looking great. I picked up a few things from Jon over the winter that are doing ok, I want to go get some more now. The reef tank has kind of taken a back burner to getting the 150 set up, last tank in the fishwall and then it'll be done. You'll have to come out some time to check it out.

Matt...I'd LOVE to ! That's quite a nice setup you've put together there ! I'll have to schedule an appt to come by and see it sometime.

I was at Jon's a few weeks back to pic up some coral for a friend. It's like walking into a candy shop ! "I'll take this....and that.....and that stuff over there too.....OH, THAT too !.......also, give me a few of those while your at it....."

I can't believe the prices either...he's VERY generous ! (don't say that anywhere too loudly though...

....he may hear....)

You'll have to post some more pics of your reef for us Matt ! Also, I do have a couple of male blue rams that need to be in a display tank if your interested......they're all grown up...about a year old now and lookin purt.

Nice, I'm down to one now, which I think is a female but I suck at sexing them. Any time you want to stop by, I'm usually around on weekends. Definitely home all day Saturdays because Liz works.

Did Jon have any sun coral polyps that you saw, either yellow or black? I think I'm in the market.
