I appreciate the comments... I'll get some vids up with an update too.
She is by far my favorite aquatic pal so far... I knew I wanted one as soon as I saw the Californian Mantis shrimp in that 3-D Johnny Dep narrated show. ANYWAYS, she turned out to be all I was looking for and more... she's either digging, moving stuff aruond, flaring at me, or observing me. I pretend to be scared of her just so she'll continue her tough girl act of flaring up at me, because she's already conditioned to my "Mantis shrimp" color printouts. She lives peacefully with a blue Damsel... for now. When I introduced the Damsel she came straight at it and clubbed its side... but thankfully the fish is healed and will turn a bright turqoise when Motoko gets a lil too curious and close. She also lives with a rather large snail (1.5inches), and has demolished a fiddler, and a Emerald Crab. I am TEMPTED to get a white spotted hermit since its so large... I want to see at what point she'll ignore large shelled creatures (like she does to the snail). |
