Hey guys and girls, welcome to the new Puffer Forum. Here we will cover all the water habitats of this unique family (Freshwater, Brackish, and Saltwater). So that means everything from the Dwarf Puffer through the gigantic Mappa and Porcupine Puffers (one sp gets 3 feet!). So as a result it would be HIGHLY helpful if you are posting a question or information that the very first thing you post in the title is one of three abbreviations:
FW- if it is a Freshwater Puffer BW- if it is a Brackish Puffer or SW- if it is a Saltwater Puffer. So for example: FW Dwarf Puffer Question or BW Figure 8 Puffer Question or SW Dogface Puffer Question. This will make answering easier and beneficial. Also if you having an issue with a puffer (disease, stressed, etc) posting all water quality information (ammonia, pH, nitrite, nitrate, and specific gravity) are highly helpful and will yield a more immediate response. Anyway enjoy your time and feel free to make suggestions! Enjoy! |
